INFANT EXPERIENCE

The initial exploration for this age group is primarily focused on self-awareness. This program centers on a warm, affectionate, and attentive environment, where the children feel safe and secure in the discovery of themselves and their surroundings.

By acknowledging the intrinsic nature of the power and potential of the awakening mind, found in these, the youngest of all learners, the intent is to provide pathways to open the intellectual “floodgates“ and allow “connections“ to be made in all areas of development.

Using current brain-research development theory, curriculum includes activities such as music, stories, finger-plays, simple art projects, and playtime. Fostering interactions which encourage sensory, physical, social, emotional and cognitive experiences, provides the infant learner with an opportunity to discover how their actions have an impact on their surroundings.
